This past weekend, one of my friends said in reference to me, “You are so serious! You’re serious about everything you do! You’re serious about laughing and having fun. You’re serious about cracked black pepper on your food. You’re serious about the sports you play. Everything you do is all out!” I guess that’s the truth. My wife used to tell me that she never knew of someone who could be belly laughing in one minute and straight down to business in the next. I just call this passion and I try to live with passion and infuse it into everything I do.

I love Jesus Christ. I lived the majority of my life not knowing him or only knowing about him. Just recently am I learning who He is, how He thinks, how He speaks to me personally, and the unfathomable depths of his love.

To date, I’ve been married 7 years and 6 months to a most incredible woman, friend, helpmate, counselor and companion.  On October 5, 2007, I was given the blessing and stewardship of Milan Justice Duncan. I am eagerly awaiting the birth of my son this May.

When I was a sophomore in high school, a spiritual father of my city spoke a significant word over my life concerning leadership in my generation.  I have since developed an increasing awareness of God’s heart for my generation and a nagging passion to see that fulfilled on the earth.

In the summer of 1996, I discovered God’s global heart when he spoke to me and said, “Jayde, I don’t just love America. I love the world.” Since then I have been privileged to serve His cause in many countries around the world and am committed to seeing the fulfillment of the great commission in our day.

Currently, I live in Colorado Springs where I serve in various capacities in multiple ministries.  Everything I thought I ever knew about church is being challenged. My life is becoming more and more focused. And if my sons and daughters, both naturally and spiritually, exceed me then I will have lived this life well.

Todd – I have been debating on whether or not I would communicate with you during the tournament after you downed my team like that . . . I’m a realistic fan, but a fan nonetheless! I’ll see you this November. Thanks for the comment.
